Project Thank You Note
The Greats
The Architect of Hope
The following culture building projects accompanied formal learning events and were designed to elevate job family functionality and demonstrate impact to business outcomes.
Project Thank You Note was developed to demonstrate the value of advising and student support to teaching and learning. I collected hundreds of thank you notes students sent to advisors and showcased them as evidence of impact on key developmental outcomes including persistence and completion. The power of single contributors to student success and institutional mission was clear to see.
The Greats project involved interviewing high performing staff as a way to allow employees to set their own standards of excellence. I interviewed great individuals, great managers and great teams over a three year period, coded the interview results and used them to articulate shared standards for the entire community.
The Architect of Hope was presented as both a live webinar and at regional and national conferences. It was designed to elevate the employee role and enhance complex relational and coaching skills. I believe dispositional skill building is a powerful strategy for achieving sustained behavioral change.
